Skype Preview Is Allowing You To Share Links And Photos From Other Applications

0

It seems that Microsoft has decided to release a new preview build of its Skype application. The new version comes with a few new features and improvements, which we think that are pretty good additions.

First of all, once you install the new Skype Preview version you will notice that you can now share photos and links from other applications. However, that’s not all, as it gives you the ability to add or remove contacts directly from their profile. The rendering of the in-call photo has been improved along with the Skype application performance in general.

If you don’t know what Skype Preview is, then you should know that this is an “early” version of the application, which contains the new features that are tested by the users who want to see what the developers are currently working on.

The latest Skype Preview version can be downloaded directly from the Google Play Store, but you just need to ignore the fact that it is listed as “unreleased.” After installing it to your Android device, use your Skype account and start testing out the new feature that allows you to share links and photos from other applications.

Keep in mind that Skype Preview is a version of the application “in testing,” meaning that you might find bugs or other issues while using it. More new features and options are expected to be released to the Skype application sometime in the near future.

In order to keep up the pace with other popular applications such as Viber or WhatsApp, the Skype application needs to get more features and improvements on the mobile platforms. Currently, we can clearly say that the Skype application is very popular on desktop platforms, but Microsoft knows very well that it needs to work more on the application on the mobile platform.
