If you are feeling nostalgic and want to play a game that is going to bring you back to the time when you were a kid, then you should be happy to know that the original Warcraft games are now available on GOG. Blizzard and GOG have announced their new partnership earlier today by launching Warcraft 1 and Warcraft 2 on the GOG game library. Warcraft 1 is priced at $8.99 and Warcraft 2 at $13.99. Although, fans of the Warcraft franchise can also purchase the two games in a bundle for a total of $21.99.
Similar to Diablo, Warcraft 2 will be available in two versions that players can pick from. The first one is an original mode that is equipped with basic features such as a multiplayer mode that uses Blizzard’s Battle.net servers. The second mode is designed for people who want to start LAN parties with their friends because this mode supports LAN and higher resolution displays.
We should also mention that Warcraft 2 features the full campaign from “Beyond The Dark Portal”. This means that Warcraft fans who enjoy the single player experience more than the multiplayer one will have lots of things to do because the full campaign has 52 levels that players can grind in the Humans and Orc story campaigns.
Warcraft 3: Reforged
Since we are talking about older Warcraft games, we need to go over the fact that Warcraft 3: Reforged is scheduled to come out in mid-2020. The game offers a revamped experience of Warcraft 1 and Warcraft 2 with the campaign starting off when Arthas goes bad. The cool thing about Warcraft 3: Reforged is the fact that it doesn’t just feature improved graphics, but it also comes with new animations and voice-overs that will make the game’s world feel more immersive than ever.
