Samsung promises five new devices at the Galaxy Unpacked event, new official images

Samsung Mobile’s new CEO, Tae-moon Roh, has revealed that the Unpacked event will unveil five new products. This does not mean that we are dealing with five smartphones, but models from all portable categories of the company. He subtly suggested that we would see a new smartwatch and a new pair of headphones and we already knew that three different smartphones would be launched. Here are Samsung’s plans for the Unpacked event on August 5, where the Galaxy Note20 series is mainly expected.

“At the Galaxy Unpacked event this summer, we will introduce five new powerful devices. They will ensure our vision of innovative company that offers new mobile experiences that blend seamlessly and provide continuity wherever you go.

They combine power with interoperability, whether you’re at work, playing games, home or away. In the “new normal” you will be encouraged to live life to the fullest with these devices in your hand (and in your ears and wrist), “said Tae-moon Roh.

Samsung is preparing traditional and foldable smartphones

Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra will be the “star” phones of the Unpacked event. They will adopt a new design, with larger screens, with an improved camera module compared to last year and with 5G functionality. These will most likely be similar in configuration to the Galaxy S20 models, with 120 Hz screens, high-performance cameras and the famous S-Pen stylus. The integration of a Snapdragon 865+ chipset from Qualcomm on the US, Korea and China variants is expected.

Along with these models, the Galaxy Z Fold2 will be presented, a model with a considerably improved foldable screen. Its internal screen could provide a frequency of 120 Hz, while its external screen will now cover the entire surface. Also, the phone’s cameras seem to be similar in design to those of the Galaxy Note20 models, but they could be closer in performance to those of the Galaxy S20 +. It is a camera system with a 12-megapixel main sensor, a 64-megapixel zoom sensor, which is also used for 8K shooting, and an ultra-wide 16-megapixel sensor.

Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Watch3 will also be present at Unpacked

I already knew that Samsung was making a pair of headphones in the shape of beans. These will most likely be called Galaxy Buds Live and will be equipped with background noise cancellation technology. The headphones have an unconventional shape, and will compete directly with AirPods Pro, which are also quite weird.

In addition to headphones, Samsung is also preparing the third generation of the Galaxy Watch, a smartwatch that will most likely offer minor upgrades, but which seems to come with a new design, according to the new photos that have arrived on the internet.

It seems that both the phones and the accessories will be delivered in the new “Mystic Brown” color.
