We have seen how Rockstar launched last year Red Dead Redemption 2, and Red Dead Online. However, they did not surpass Grand Theft Auto 5. According to some sources, Grand Theft Auto 5 has sold more than 90 million copies since it first got released, the thing that made it the most successful title of all time, financially speaking. The thing that makes it so special is the fact that it comes with the GTA Online multiplayer aspect.
Take-Two Interactive is the parent company of Rockstar Games, and it has been focusing on Read Dead Online ever since Red Dead Redemption 2 was released. Take-Two Interactive will update GTA, even if they put a lot of effort into other projects. However, we do not know anything else, not even what fans should expect of the new game.
We’re getting more and more content
Rockstar did update GTA Online, and it still does with vehicles, new features, game modes, and weapons. Most of the updates are based on holidays or on significant dates. We think it’s great news that Take-Two puts some effort in the new content for the multiplayer mode of the game. This also means that they will continue to add content just like they’ve been doing all this time.
The most recent earnings of taking Two show us that it was very successful recently. For Red Dead Redemption 2, they have about 23 million shipments. This comes with 7 million more than the first Red Dead game had in the first eight years since it hit the market.
