Pokemon Go is such a fun to play game that when it first came out, the entire world was out on the streets collecting Pokemon. Niantic Labs, the company that created this mobile game has been doing a great job of keeping it updated with cool features which make it impossible for players to get bored. In fact, a new update is available for Pokemon Go right now.
Pokemon Go 0.81.1 APK Update
The update is available in form of APK (Android Package Kit) which means that it can be downloaded ahead of the public OTA (over the air) release date. Additionally, the update weighs in at 92.88MB and it is targeted towards Android 6.0 Marshmallow powered devices. Luckily, this update can also be installed on a minimum of Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
Instead of focusing on visual changes, Niantic Labs loves to release bug fixes which enhance the overall game experience. With that said, this new update contains a couple of bug fixes which take care of some known and widespread issues.
The first bug that this new update removes is the one who prevented Trainers from powering up their Pokemon to their max CP. Considering how important it is for a Pokemon to have its CP maxed out, we think it’s safe to say that this is a major bug fix.
Another important bug that’s being taken care of with this new update is the one related to Raid Battles. Lately, Pokemon Go has been plagued by a bug which caused trainers contributions to automatically reset whenever they rejoined a Raid Battle. This bug was quite annoying and we bet that everyone is happy to hear that its being fixed.
Lastly, the game’s overall performance is being improved after installing this new update because it also contains a couple of under the hood tweaks. This means that the game will load faster and that players will get to enjoy a more immersive experience.
