Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 4 Series to Eventually Receive Android O Update

Asus has made recently an official announcement saying that the Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 4 series will eventually get the Android O Update.

This announcement has been made during a special event that Asus has held and where it has unleashed six additional Zenfone 4 models. All of the new handsets run on Android Nougat, but it seems that they will also be prepared for the Android O Update sometime in the future.

We’re not sure what name the upcoming Android O will have, but some reports are suggesting that it will be “Oreo.” However, until Google will finally confirm this name, let’s talk a bit about the devices released by Asus.

So, if you are interested in purchasing one of Asus’s new handsets, you should stay relaxed as the company will definitely update the new mobile devices to the Android O as soon as possible.

In other words, the Android O is rumored to come to the entire Zenfone 4 line of handsets. What’s even better is that the last year’s Zenfone 3 will also receive the Android O update, which is great as many owners of these devices have not thought that their devices will be updated to this upcoming Android version.

Reports are also suggesting that the Android O update for the Zenfone 3 line will also come with the Asus revamped ZenUI 4.0. According to the company, the new ZenUI version has a simpler, intuitive, modern and gorgeous interface.

Unfortunately, Asus will take its time to start rolling the Android O Update. That being said, the update will most likely be released for the mentioned handsets sometime in the second half of 2018.
