The position of Switch has continually been enforced in the homeland of Nintendo as the market’s top video game system. More than six million units were shifted in a period of two years, and that number keeps rising as Super Smash Bros has been released recently. The sales were increased domestically by Ultimate.
The system sales exceptionally well as you can see which means to you would not be surprised to hear that in Japan eight out of ten of the best-selling games in 2018 were Nintendo Switch titles. If you want to take a look at the list here it is:
The first most sold Nintendo game was Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The second most sold Nintendo game was Monster Hunter World. The third most sold Nintendo game wasPokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!. The fourth most sold Nintendo game wasSplatoon 2. The fifth most sold Nintendo game was Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The sixth most sold Nintendo game was Super Mario Party. The seventh most sold Nintendo game was Kirby Star Allies. The eighth most sold Nintendo game was Super Mario Odyssey. The ninth most sold Nintendo game was Minecraft. The tenth most sold Nintendo game was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Capcom’s Monster Hunter World is the only game on this list that is not available on the hybrid platform if we take into consideration the fact that Minecraft is available on the Switch.
What do you think about Nintendo’s improvements over the years? Are games now as good as they are different or do you think that back in the day gaming was better? Well…there are as many opinions as they are games available so what is left to do is to be happy that we have a wide range of possibilities to choose from for our leisure time.
