Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Gets Android Oreo
When it comes to Android smartphones, Samsung is one of the most powerful brands on the market. The company works hard to maintain its position, and it comes with improvements constantly. Therefore, it is very important for Samsung users to have the latest Android version. Google recently released the Oreo version, but many devices are still waiting for it. However, new information seems to indicate that Oreo will become available for Samsung handsets soon.
New leaks show that the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will run on Android Oreo
A few days ago we found out that the Galaxy S8 series will get Oreo through Beta program, but now we received some new Geekbench images that show the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus handset will have Android 8.0 Oreo. This means that the update will soon reach Samsung.
The Geekbench images reveal new information
Thanks to the new leaks we also found some new details about the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus device. There will be two versions available for this smartphone: The Qualcomm one and the Exynos one. There will probably be some price differences as well, but it is too soon to know all the details.
The Qualcomm phone will have the Snapdragon 835 Octa-Core processor, and 4 GB of RAM, while the other one will have an Exynos 8895 Octa-Core processor and 4 GB. Both versions are running Android 8.0 Oreo.
We also know that the Galaxy S8 Plus will come with the version name G955FXXU1BQI1, while the Galaxy S8 will have the release name G950FXXU1BQI1.
Samsung users can expect a Beta programme for this update, but we do not know when it will be released. Android 8.0 Oreo will come with numerous improvements and it will boost the performance of these devices.
What does this mean? The Galaxy S8+ came out at the same time the galaxy S8 did? Is there a new galaxy S8+ coming out with oreo already installed? In so confused by this post I don’t even know what it’s saying.
