PlayStation 4 Pro vs. Xbox One X – The Battle of The 4k Consoles

If you take a look back at the history of gaming, it is incredible to see how much it has evolved in such a short time. Right now 4k consoles are the latest thing and they are able to provide the best quality for video games. Xbox and PlayStation have always been rivals, and now the competition has been upgraded to 4k. While they do offer different things, they are similar enough to make a comparison.

When it comes to graphics, PlayStation 4 Pro comes with 4.12 trillion floating point operations per second (TFLOPS), 218 GB/s and 8 GB GDDR5. This console also has an additional 1 GB of RAM that should be used for background processes. On the other side, Xbox Scorpio will offer you 6 TFLOPS, 326 GB/s and 12 GB GDDR5.

The processor is basically the core of the device and that is why it is very important for a console. In this case, both products are pretty similar, and the difference between them is understandable if you think about the fact that the Xbox is coming one year after the PS4. If you were curious, The One X comes with an 8-core, 2.3 GHz processor, while the PlayStation 4 Pro has an 8-core, 2.13 GHz processor.

The Xbox One X will be released next month, on November 7 and we already know that it will be available for £449. Meanwhile, Play Station 4 Pro has been launched a while ago, and it has been on the market since November 2016. Its price is £349.99, a good price if you take Into consideration the specifications of this device. You can order the Play Station 4 Pro, but Xbox One X is already available for pre-order as well.
