Perhaps everybody already knows about the amazing features of Google Earth even if they haven’t installed the software yet. Basically, it allows you to tell your friends where your location is so that they can easily reach you. More than that, it has a huge database with features that enable people to upload images of certain locations for others to have an idea about the place.
Installing Google Earth
You can say that the installation process is very easy because you only need to download the file via https://earth.google.com/download-earth.html. After downloading the installation file, you simply have to click on it and follow the procedure. The installation process might take some time, depending on the processor of your computer.
Uninstalling Google Earth
If you are not satisfied with the services of Google Earth, you can always uninstall the software from your computer. This can be done in Windows 10, 8.1, and 7.
- Just click Start button from the desktop
- Click on the Control Panel option
- Go to Programs and click the link to Uninstall a Program
- Search for Google Earth from the list and right-click on it
- Select the option to Uninstall/Change
- You have to confirm your choice by clicking Yes
You can download Google Earth if your system qualifies for the minimum installation requirements. Basically, your PC needs to be running at least Windows 7 or newer operating systems. If you are using a Mac, then it must be at least Mac OS X 10.8 or newer. For Linux, it must be LSB 4.1 libraries, Linux Standard Base.
If you are using Windows 10, you can choose from either 32 or 64-bit architecture for the installation of Google Earth on your computer. You can also download Google Earth for mobile devices, such as Android and iOS.
