Your 32-bit Apple device is now able to get jailbreak iOS 8.4.1 untethered. This is good news, since the jailbreaking community received numerous hits after Apple managed to make the latest operating system version almost impossible to jailbreak. While this is way behind since Apple has already released iOS 11, it is good to know that developers haven’t abandoned this yet. In fact, now that we also heard some news about an iOS 11 jailbreak, things seem to look bright once again.
Get jailbreak iOS 8.4.1 untethered
This jailbreak becomes possible thanks to the EtasonJB tool. This means that jailbreak fans that have been using a much older version can finally get an upgrade.
The new jailbreak tool has been released by the well-known jailbreaker tihmstar. He has been talking about this tool for a while and now it has been finally released. It is also a good thing that this jailbreak is untethered, which means that users don’t have to worry about anything, and they can use their device normally, and their jailbreak status won’t change in time.
However, there is one disadvantage. This jailbreak is only available for 32-bit devices, which means that not all devices can get it. Here is the list with the devices that are able to use the Etason JB tool: iPad mini, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, and iPod Touch 5.
Install the jailbreak
Download the EtasonJB IPA file and then use Cydia Impactor in order to sideload it onto your device. As always, make sure that you are very careful since you do not want to mess up this process.
