The ZenFone 7 series is very close to being officially unveiled, but as with all smartphones lately, almost all the details about it are starting to appear on the internet before launch. Thus we have the first information about the basic ZenFone 7 model and the superior ZenFone 7 Pro model, equipped with top processors at prices below those of direct competitors in the market. We have price information and hardware configurations of ZenFone 7 models.
The price differences between ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro will not be large
ZenFone 7, the base model seems to be a direct descendant of last year’s ZenFone 6, keeping a similar configuration, with improvements only in the main components. We are talking about a Snapdragon 865 chipset, which replaces last year’s 855 model, with a 6.4 ”LCD screen with Full HD resolution and a 5,000 mAh battery. The storage in the basic version is 128 GB, and the RAM is 8 GB.
On the other hand, the ZenFone 7 Pro variant will not be extremely different. This seems to be similar in specifications, with the mention that it will use a Snapdragon 865+ chipset, the new revision from Qualcomm. Consequently, the performance of this model should be about 10% higher. The configuration with 8 GB RAM remains on the Pro model, with the mention that it has a basic storage of 256 GB.
The cameras will be similar to those on the ROG Phone 3, but one of the sensors will be missing. The phones will benefit from a 64-megapixel main sensor (Sony IMX686) and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera sensor (Sony IMX363).
