“Dark Sun” got to see the light of the day today in Japan. Atlus also gave us a teaser of Persona 5 R. We got the teaser for the PlayStation consoles, by seeing a PlayStation logo at the beginning of the trailer. However, no platform was announced officially. We also see “March 2019”, but that’s about it.
If you want, you can also see the teaser trailer, together with a concert, that will be hosted at the Ryougoku Kokugikan, in Tokia, on the 24th of April and the 25th of April: Persona super Live P-Sound Street 2019.
Persona 5 R will appear before the concert
In an intriguing way, it seems that Persona 5 R will happen before the concert takes place. In March next year, Aniplex will let another anime meet the light of the day, called “Stars and Ours”, that will probably be the conclusion of “Dark Sun” and will probably also have the reveal of the game in a format that’s similar to those of today.
It’s also good to mention that the logo of Playstation doesn’t really mean that the game is made exclusively for PS4. for now, we can only wait and see. Also, the teaser mentions “New Projects” – so be sure that there will be more than one game to be revealed.
For those of you who don’t know
If you don’t know what Persona 5 is, then you might want to know that it is a popular JRPG which got released in Japan for PS4 and PS3 after some delays, on the 15th of September, 2016. Those from the west had to wait a bit, until the 4th of April, 2017 to get the game.
Ever since then, it got two spinoffs, Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth and Persona 5: Dancing in the Starlight. The protagonist of Persona 5 – Joker – will also make an appearance on Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros, and even in Atlus’ Catherine: Full Body.
