Nokia 6 to Arrive on the US Market on July 10

0

Recently, HMD Global has announced that they will start selling the Nokia 6 smartphone on the US market in the beginning of July. The product is going to be available in 2 colors and initially you will only be able to buy it from Amazon. The company is planning to add two more extra colors to the lineup which is sold in America this summer, which is great.

You have to know that the official version of Nokia 6 for the US is going to cost less than the one for China. However, it will also offer less RAM and NAND, compared to other versions.

An Interesting Phone

Nokia 6 is for the moment the most advanced device that is offered by the HMD Global. The company owns the rights they need to produce devices under the brand. HMD, together with FIH Mobile (which is a subsidiary of Foxconn) have designed the smartphone together, also using some input from Nokia. For now, all the Nokia smartphones run on pure Google Android 7.1 OS, considering all the upgrades. However, there are no enhancements from the developers.

Improvements

We have to agree that the aesthetics have always been a plus of the Nokia phones, and Nokia 6 makes no exception to this rule. It comes with an aluminum unibody that has flat edges. The edges are milled with the help of a CNC machine, so they’re made of a single aluminum brick.

Currently, Nokia 6 is available in four colors: matte black, blue, silver and copper. Regarding the display, it features a 5.5-inches FHD IPS display with 450 nits brightness. Moreover, it has a polarizer film and it is covered with a 2.5D Gorilla Glass for protection, which is rounded at the edges.
