Xiaomi is one of the most devoted and hard-working tech companies that we’ve seen enter the tech field lately. The creators and developers behind it always make sure that the products they put out look, feel and perform in such a way as to be considered at least premium at an entry level. The main attraction for devices like this lies in the fact that they offer the same quality experience as an iPhone or a Samsung Galaxy smartphone, but for a fraction of the price. And although newer and better Xiaomi devices are not cheap by any means, they are far more affordable than many others on the market for sure.
Today we will discuss the new MIUI 9 update for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 that is built around Android 7.0 Nougat. Although Xiaomi has vouched to bring Android O on tis phones as soon as possible after the official release, a lot of Xiaomi phones did not even have Nougat running on them. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was one of them. But now you can install the Android Nougat version of MIUI 9 on your Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 if you live in India. Here’s how to do that.
How to Install
Go to the official Xiaomi website and search for the MIUI download section. You will notice that you are prompted to select what build of Xiaomi smartphone you own, so make sure you go to the section dedicated specifically to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Then you will see two versions of the ROM available for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The stable one of the MIUI 8 is already on your phone, so you need to get the other one, which is the developer version of MIUI 9 for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
