A while ago jailbreak was an essential tool for Apple users. Now not only that it isn’t really necessary, but it is almost impossible to get it. If you own an older device you shouldn’t have a problem, but developers have a hard time jailbreaking the latest iOS versions. In fact, a new tool was released in order to jailbreak iOS 8.4.1.
A new jailbreak tool named EtasonJB is available for iOS 8.4.1, and it was released by jailbreaker tihmstar. However, you should know that you can only use EtasonJB if you own a 32-bit device. To be more specific, these are the devices that can get the new tool: iPad mini, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPod Touch 5, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c.
EtasonJB also has one requirement: your iOS must be 8.1.1. If your device runs other version yu must downgrade it in order to use jailbreak. The good news is that this is an untethered jailbreak, so everything should function smoothly.
Apple might have found a way to finally stop jailbreak, but small updates like this one let us know that the jailbreaking community is not ready to give up. In fact, a while ago new rumors revealed that there is a jailbreak available for iOS 11. There was a video that served as proof, but we haven’t heard anything since. However, we wouldn’t be surprised if an unexpected jailbreak tool would be revealed.
How to install the EtasonJB jailbreak?
Download the EtasonJB file and then use Cydia Impactor to sideload it onto your device. As always, be careful to follow the instructions correctly because your device can be affected if something goes wrong with the installation process.
