New leaks reveal the sizes of the batteries for the 5G Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy Fold. The Galaxy Fold is supposed to be Samsung’s foldable phone. This is not the first report that refers to the battery capacity of the S10 series, but this time the details are about the 5G variant of the Galaxy S10. There will be 4G-enabled models as well, such as the Galaxy S10 (also known as Lite or E), the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+.

The battery sizes

Based on the reports we have so far, the three Samsung Galaxy S10 models will have different battery sizes. These are 3,100mAh, 3,500mAh and 4,000mAh. It appears that for the 5,000mAh battery for the 5G Galaxy S10. the part number EB-BG977ABU was used. A different part number will be used for budget devices such as the Galaxy M20.

The 5G variant of the Galaxy S10 will only be available in certain markets. In fact, this product could launch only in the United States and South Korea in the beginning. The foldable phone will end up being released everywhere.

We already speculated that the Samsung foldable phone will have a big battery. This has also been predicted by CGS-CIMB Research of Korea. Since the device has basically two parts when it is folded, there will be a battery in each half. Put together, the capacity of the two batteries is of 6000mAh.

There are two batteries for this phone and the part numbers for them are EB-BF900ABA and EB-BF901ABA. They are 3,100mAh batteries and their combined capacity is 6,200mAh. We should also mention that the two batteries are the same ones at the 3100mAh battery that is used for the least expensive Galaxy S10 model.
