Windows Insider 16299.15 Build Newest Leaks

Microsoft made headlines during the IFA 2017 event when it announced that the highly anticipated Windows 10 Fall Creators update is scheduled to come out on October 17^th. Even though rumors and leaks were pointing out that Microsoft’s fourth major update will contain the word “Fall” in its name, it’s still nice to hear it from an official source. Things get even better since Microsoft recently issued a new preview build for Windows 10 which is showing that Microsoft is adding the finishing touches to the Fall Creators Update.

Windows Insider 16299.15 Build

The update we are talking about is Windows Insider 16299.15 version and it recently rolled out to the Fast Ring. In essence, this new Windows Insider version is similar to the previous 16299 build. The only thing that sets it apart from the already existing Windows Insider version is the fact that Microsoft removed the watermark from the desktop and deleted the build expiration date.

The reason why Microsoft keeps on releasing small updates such as this one is because this build will be serviced through cumulative updates. Therefore, Microsoft is not going to roll out any more important builds during the upcoming future and it will only release small tweaks and enhancements to this one. Worth mentioning is that this information was confirmed by Dona Sarkar who is the head of Windows Insider Program.

Fall Creators Update

As previously mentioned, the highly anticipated Fall Creators Update is schedule to come out on October 17^th. What this means for beta testers is that they will be automatically shifted to Redstone 4 and that they will have to wait for a whole year until the next major update comes out. Nonetheless, Fall Creators Update is finalized and the only updates people are going to see during the upcoming days are small bug fixes.
