WhatsApp New Update for Android Comes With Two New Features
WhatsApp has over 1.2 billion monthly active users, meaning that it is one of the most used mobile messaging applications out there. Well, it seems that the developers have just released a new WhatsApp update for Android OS, which finally brings two of the new features that have been added on the application for iOS, a few days ago.
One of the new features that have been added to the WhatsApp application for Android OS is allowing you to apply new text font styles. This means that you won’t need to write “*” in front of a text to bold it or “_” to add italic style on it. Instead, you will have some options that will allow you to easily choose the text font styles. In other words, the developers have made this possible right from the interface of the application, rather than letting you to manually write a special character for it. The second new feature that has been added is allowing you to search for emojis directly.
The new features of WhatsApp are now available on the latest WhatsApp BETA version, which you can download and install directly from the Google Play Store. Unfortunately, the rumored “Video Conference” feature that is expected to allow you to make video calls with two or more users at the same time on WhatsApp has not been added yet. To make things worse, the developers have not even confirmed that they are working on such a feature, so there are high chances that it will not even be added anytime sooner.
