Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Users are Now Able to Try the One UI beta

Samsung is still putting the finishing touches on One UI.  The new interface is based on Android Pie and it will bring lots of improvements to compatible Samsung devices. The Korean company is focusing on the flagships devices first and Samsung Galaxy S9+ and Note 9 were the first devices that gained access to the new user experience.

Limited release

In order to quickly fix any potential bugs the beta is only available in a few geographic areas. For now it seems that Note 8 users from the UK, India and South Korea are able to download and install the update. It may become available in other countries in the following days.

In the past Samsung used to limit the release of beta versions to flagship smartphones. Samsung has made an exception with the Note 9 and it seems that the program has been extended to other devices. This will have a positive impact for older devices since the final update will be considerably better if most bugs are identified and addressed during the beta.

Installing the beta

Those that wish to try the new One UI on their devices will be able to download and install the beta version of update by using the Samsung Members app. Note 8 users will have to look for the N950FXXU5ZSA5. The app will guide you through the complete installation process.
