Samsung Galaxy M51, officially presented with a 7000 mAh battery

A successor to last year’s M31, the Galaxy M51 retains the recipe for using a generous battery, offering no less than 7000 mAh of storage capacity.

Identified with the model name SM-M515F / DSN, Samsung Galaxy M51 does not defy expectations for a smartphone in the affordable range, using a configuration based on the Snapdragon 730 chipset, helped with 6 GB of RAM.

According to details not directly confirmed by Samsung, the phone will come with a very generous 7000 mAh battery, plus an AC adapter capable of providing power of up to 25W in fast charging mode. Used in combination with a fairly efficient configuration in terms of power consumption, the oversized battery could lead to more than 5 days of autonomy under normal use.

If the rumors are confirmed, this will be the Samsung phone with the largest battery capacity launched so far, surpassing the predecessor Galaxy M31s delivered with a “only” 6000 mAh battery.

According to the unofficial list of specifications, the Galaxy M51 is a phone with a 6.7-inch SuperAMOLED screen, Infinity-O type, with FHD + resolution and centrally aligned front camera, visible from behind a perforation applied on the active surface of the screen.

The phone, powered by the Snapdragon 730 mid-range chipset, is supported with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable by attaching a microSD card.

The main camera is a 64MP model with wide-angle lenses, seconded by an ultrawide module with 12MP resolution. The quad camera also includes a macro module with 5MP resolution and another 5MP sensor for applying DoF (depth-of-field) effects in portrait photos. The front camera seems to be a 32MP model with at least reasonable performance.
