Samsung Galaxy J3 vs. Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo – Most Accessible Device Comparison

In April this year we got the chance to see from Samsung the Galaxy S8 and S8+ flagships. However, even if they are some great phones, these options are not available for everybody. For people who have a tight budget to deal with, the company has offered other accessible devices, such as Samsung Galaxy J3 and Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo. Galaxy S5 Neo

This device comes together with a 5.1-inches Super AMOLED display, which offers a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The ppi is 431, which is decent. It measures 142 x 72.5 x 8.1 mm and it weighs only 145 grams. It runs on a Samsung Exynos 7580 octacore CPU, paired with a 1.6 GHz ARM Cortex A53 and an ARM Mali-T729MP2 GPU.

It offers 2 GB RAM and a 16 GB internal storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card up to 256 GB. The main camera is a 16 MP one, while the front snapper is a 5 MP one. The S5 Neo device runs on a 2,800 mAh battery, which is quite decent, and it comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Galaxy J3

This device comes with the same 5.1 inches display, only it offers a 1280×720 pixels resolution, thus a ppi of 294. It weighs 142.3 x 71 x 7.9 mm and it weighs 138 grams. It runs on a Spreadtrum SC9830 quadcore processor, as well as a 1.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A7. The GPU is an ARM Mali-400. It offers 1.5 GB RAM and an internal storage of 8 or 16 GB which can be extended.

The main camera is a 8 MP one, while the secondary one offers 5 MP. The battery is a 2,600 mAh model, which is great for this phone in particular.
