    Reset PRAM or NVRAM

NVRAM or Pram are abbreviations for Non-volatile Random Access Memory respectively or Parameter Random Access Memory. Mac OS uses this small amount of memory to save certain settings making it easier to access them. This would be the best solution to fix the 43 error and here is how to reset them:

Step-1: Shut down your Mac PC.

Step-2: While your Mac is shutting down make sure that you know where the Command, Option (alt), P and R keys are.

Step-3: Turn your PC on again and simultaneously press the Command + Option + P + R keys. That should make the grey startup screen show up.

Step-4: Do not release these keys until you hear the startup sound three times. This is what makes the PRAM to reset and to fix the Error-43 in your PC.

Note: If you can’t hear that sound repeat the steps or try the next method.

  1. Use Disk Utility

The Error-43 is often related to missing or corrupt files so you should check the directory corruption or the permission issue first. To do so, you will need to use the Disk Utility by following the next steps:

Step-1: Go to the Apple menu and click on Restart.

Step-2: After the restart process is done, simultaneously press and hold the Command + R key until the Apple logo appears.

Step-3: Now it is time to click on the Disk Utility option and then Continue.

Step-4: Select the disk you wish to repair from the left side panel. After that press the First-Aid button and continue with the Disk Utility check process.
