Ever since Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference took place on the fifth of June in San Jose, California, everyone has been going crazy about this fall’s new releases. The Cupertino tech giant teased a lot of new features, but in true Apple fashion did not give us much info on them. One of these features is iOS 11, the new installment in the company’s in house mobile operating system.
This summer has been entirely reserved for testing out iOS 11. Thus, a lot of beta previews came and went, so we got to get a taste of what iOS 11 will truly look like. But now the finished product is finally coming out soon and we will know once and for all how iOS 11 truly is. But when does it come out and what are its final features? Keep reading to find out.
The rumors have finally stopped, because we now know what the official Apple-approved release date for iOS 11 will be. The date in question is September 19th, so mark your calendars. However, we do not know what time this will be, but judging by Apple’s pattern, we’d have to guess somewhere around 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
Here are all the features that iOS 11 will have:
- Screen recording
- A brand new Control Center
- Drag and drop feature for multiple apps
- Smarter and more natural sounding Siri
- Apple payments, Venmo style
- A greater ease in clearing up storage space
- Hidden dark mode
- File management done right
- Do Not Disturb mode for driving or other activities that require it
These are all the features that your iPhone and iPad will get on September 19th. Are you excited for it? Let us know in the comment section below, and have a great rest of your day!
