How to Improve Google Chrome Browsing Experience

0

Google Chrome is a very popular browser but browsing can be difficult if you forget to keep your browser clean and at a good performance level. There are some tricks that will help you to improve the speed when browsing the internet on Google Chrome.

  1. Open Less Tabs or Use OneTab Extension

A lot of users open over ten tabs and they all consume too much RAM. You can either try to open less tabs or install the OneTab Extension that will reduce the RAMs used for them.

You can also opt for saving webpages for a later view, and you can do it by installing one of these extensions to help you out: Google Keep, Save to Pocket, OneNote Web Clipper and so on.

  1. Get Data Saver Extension

Speed up your Google Chrome by using this extension that will compress web pages before you visit them so that your PC will receive a lighter webpage version of that site and it will let you browse fast and save some internet data – if that’s also a concern.

  1. Cache Clearing

To speed up your Google Chrome browser you have to clear the cache from time to time. You can easily do this by typing in the address bar the following: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData and clear ‘Cached images and files’.

  1. Way too Many Extensions – Disable Them

If you have too many extensions or you no longer need some of them, disable them by typing in the address bar the following: chrome://extensions. You can also do the same thing for plug-ins.

Having to many extensions will eat too much RAM and slow your browser.

  1. It’s Malware

If you’ve done all of the above and still got nothing, then you should check for malware with this tool: Chrome Cleanup Tool or scan the whole system with an Anti-Malware from Malwarebytes.
