Halloween Pokémon Go event comes with with Gen 3 Pokémon

Since its release last year, Niantic’s Pokémon Go has been attracting the crowds with its bonus features and incredible Pokémon creatures. The game was a bit hit and even if now the player base has reduced a bit, fans are still very dedicated to the game. Niantic also knows how to please them by creating special events during important dates such as Halloween or Christmas.

Pokémon Go Halloween

This year’s Pokémon Go Halloween event will be extra special with the addition of Pokémon Go Gen 3 creatures. Apart from the special Halloween Pokémon creatures such as Drowzee, Cubone, Gengar and Ghastly, player will be able to enjoy rare Gen 3 creatures.

Niantic has made an announcement regarding the event and the new addition will be Ghost-type Pokémon from the Hoenn region: Sableye, Banette and others. The announcement also said that the other Pokémon creatures starring in Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire will be introduced gradually starting December.

The Halloween event began on the 20th of October and it will end on the 2nd of November.

Other new features of Pokémon Go

Niantic is always looking to attract and maintain players and new features are released for the game periodically. Some examples include the addition of themed events, new Pokémon from later generation and the fact that trainers can participate in raids.

Pokémon Go

The location-based reality game was released for the first time in July 2016 and it used the phone’s GPS to locate and capture Pokémon creatures. Trainers can capture, battle, train and purchase additional in-game items.

After its release the game instantly became popular and massive crowds were seen outside in search of Pokémon.

Fans can also use the Pokémon Go Plus, a Bluetooth wearable device which allows players to perform actions without looking at their phone.
