Fix No Audio Output Device Is Installed Error on Windows 7, 8 and 10

Yeah, we all know what that means: your computer is no longer playing any sound. But that issue might be temporary, or it might need a manual fix. If you mouse over the icon and see the message ‘No Audio Output Device is installed’, then you will need to try a few things to fix this problem. 1. Re-enable the device yourself

When ‘No Audio Output Device is installed’ is displayed, it most likely means that the device is actually disabled. In order to enable it yourself, press the Windows key and the R key at the same time to open the Run panel and type in devmgmt.msc. go to Sound, video and game controllers and Add legacy hardware, then go through the wizard. 2. Uninstall and reinstall driver
