Bethesda plans on adding some new features in the future update for their Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The update will introduce the Creation Club inside the game and this means that users will be able to buy mods whenever they will be available for platforms.
PC Users can Grab the 1.5 Update Now
Console players that have either PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One will have to wait for the update to go live but PC players can get the update by visiting the game in the Steam library and changing Skyrim to the new version, Beta 1.5.
A very interesting addition in the newest version is Survival Mode. Survival Mode is the most difficult mode in which you can experience Skyrim. You’ll see a lot more challenges in the new Mode that you haven’t seen in Skyrim yet, adding more realism to different encounters.
If you’re curious about what you’ll see in survival mode, here’s a list with some of the challenges:
You won’t be able to fast travel and if you travel in snowy or rainy locations your health will be decreased due Cold conditions. If your warmth rating is higher, then cold environments will have slower effects on you. You will die if you swim in ice-cold water. Health regeneration is not going to be available in Survival Mode and in order to level up, you must sleep in a bed. You will not be able to carry as much weight as you would in normal mode. You’ll be prone to getting ill from disease that other creatures carry and these will debilitate you more than you would expect. In order to get healthy again, you must go to shrines and get cured for a gold offering.
Players who have Skyrim on consoles will get the Skyrim Special Edition, update 1.5 in October and those who have it on PC, through Steam can get the beta version right now.
