Apple iOS 11 vs. Google Android 8.0 Oreo – The Battle of Visuals

0

Let’s see which operating system has a better look and why. Both Android 8.0 Oreo and Apple iOS 11 have been fully launched for several devices, with more Apple devices getting faster updates than the devices that work on Android.

Android Oreo is available on few smartphones, such as Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Pixel, Pixel XL and Pixel C, so if you are among those users, then you can consider yourself lucky. iOS has a lot more smartphones that have been immediately updated to the last version. So, if you’re an iOS user that has an iPhone 5s or a newer smartphone, then you should have already received iOS 11 update. iPads are also compatible for the upgrade to iOS 11.

iOS 11 Versus Android 8.0 Oreo – the Visual Look

When you launch on a Nexus 5X, for example, you’ll see a drastic change to the app launcher. Looking at both operating systems, there are a lot of differences, starting with the launching phase.

Where Apple focuses on readability by choosing a rounder font for its writing, Google chose a different approach, keeping it classic – Nougat classic, to be more exact – and made some subtle changes that you will see if you go to the Settings menu and have a close look.

Both operating systems have their perks and it’s time to accept that these new versions, iOS 11 and Android 8.0 Oreo look good in their own way. It all comes to what users prefer and expect from their smartphones.

If you haven’t received iOS 11 or Android 8.0 Oreo, then you can download them by checking out some guides on how to do it and visiting the official websites for getting the official operating system
(the iOS 11 Developer Beta or from the /developers – Google APIs for Android). Don’t forget to back up everything you have on iCloud / iTunes or on Google Drive.
